Kick It 3v3 Soccer Field and Goal Dimensions

When Kick It 3v3 Soccer was founded in 1990 as the original 3v3 soccer tour company, our soccer fields and soccer goals were huge! The goals were 8ft wide and 4ft high, and the fields were up to 90 ft wide and 120 ft long. This was probably needed back in the 1990s to result in high scoring matches.

As developmental and competitive soccer coaches since the the early 1990s, Zico and Dan have seen the level of skill rise throughout North America. As a result, players are more skillful and tactful, so they do not need such huge fields and goals to enjoy the fun, excitement, development and high goal scoring associated with 3v3 soccer. In fact, the smaller fields help challenge the players to play at a higher level.

We found that with the fields and goals smaller the players are better off for it and we still see goals scored every 1-2 minutes in nearly every game.

Just like full size field size can vary, our field sizes can also vary based on available facility resources.

Our official goals are the new Bazooka 5ft wide by 3ft high goals, but in some cases we may use goals that are 6ft wide by  4ft high as we make this transition.

Our National Championship and National Cup events will likely use the 5ft x 3ft goals exclusively.
